How to keep our kids busy without buying stuff all the time?  How to re-use or recycle? How to increase our kids’ awareness of ecology? These are some of the questions you may ask yourself in this world of consumerism.

Here are 3 awesome websites I came across that address this and are also excellent resources to entertain your little ones:

http://www.e-coloriage.com = a French website. 50 illustrators lent their talent to create this kind of online coloring book. You can print the pages for free, each of them has a message on how to protect our planet.

http://www.minieco.co.uk = a British website. Created by a Mom of two who has super neat ideas of “creative activities and handmade stuff for kids”. Her website is fantastic and she has already been featured in many magazines.

http://madebyjoel.blogspot.com = an American website of another creative Dad who also shares the tutorials of his art projects, toys and crafts. I think Joel is known all around the world now, I’ve seen his website linked to many blogs and he has also been featured in many magazines.  His book Made to Play is going to be published in October.

These should keep your kiddos busy during the Spring break and beyond. If you have others good websites on this theme to share, please do.

Son livre Made to Play sera publie en Octobre.
