Summer ’12 in Vancouver! / Ete 2012 a Vancouver !

With Labour Day tomorrow and back-to-school on Tuesday, it is now the last gasps of summer and time to reflect about all the good times we had this summer.

July was the start of a new routine for us. Juliette went to daycare 3 days/week in July and August and I went back to work after a break of over 2 years. A couple times, Juliette was at home after my night shifts and had to entertain herself for a few hours while I got some sleep. Having said that,  I think that we are both happy with these new changes.

Also, we really enjoyed being back in beautiful Vancouver. I love this city. I lived in quite a few places around the world now and Vancouver is, by far, my favorite.  The mountains, the ocean, the beaches, the forests, the parks… we have them all!  And the diversity does not stop at the scenery; Vancouver is very cosmopolitan. But sadly, this city is also getting really expensive. I don’t know how much longer we’ll be able to afford to live in beautiful Vancouver. For now, here I am in Vancouver and this summer, not only we enjoyed the nice weather but also all that this awesome city has to offer.
