Seattle 2018

This Spring break, we crossed the border and spent 3 days/2 nights in Seattle. On our way there, we went off the highway and drove through LaConner and its gorgeous yellow fields of daffodils at this season.

I had found an Airbnb which had chickens, a cat and two rabbits… the accommodation itself was exciting for the girls! They really enjoyed picking up the fresh eggs everyday.

The weather became overcast/rainy on the second day, so we did not go to the zoo. Instead, we went downtown (Capitol Hill, Seattle library, waterfront) and the Pacific science centre. On the last day, we did the little hike near the house we stayed at, went back downtown at Uwajimaya for lunch, walked around Pioneer square and did some shopping at the outlet mall on the way back home despite our weak CAD (1 USD = 1.288 CAD).
